Black and white photographic plate sections at rear. Illustrated throughout in black and white with some folding maps and plans. Separate box of Plans. Volumes II, V and VI are ex-library copies with the usual stamps. The d/ws also show signs of being ex-library and are a bit dust-soiled, rubbed and have a few very short tears. Volumes I, II and the Plan box are lacking d/ws. Very good in good + dust-wrappers (where applicable). Item #4010
The History of the King's Works was published in 7 volumes (including a volume of plans). This is lacking Volume IV (1485-1660 Part II).
