Chapman established the authoritative texts for the 20th century and was enormously influential in the revival of interest in Jane Austen's work. The Third Edition was completed in 1954 with the addition of Volume 6 Minor Works. This set is usually found in cloth. The superior leather binding makes a handsome present even with the wear.
