Five pre-war volumes in d/ws and five post-war volumes in illustrated jackets by Lynton Lamb. A mixed set. About a third of the volumes have a little spotting to the top edge and about a quarter are faded to some degree on their spine. The American Senator lacks the half-title. Five volumes bear the ink ownership of John Stephenson of Newburn, Northumberland on their flyleaf and three volumes have the bookplate of H.R. Creswick on their front paste down.
