A little rubbing at extremities and a tiny split at the top of the spine. Neat ink ownership on fly. Some foxing, especially to the early pages, and a few pencil annotations to the Introduction and The Rivals. Very good. Item #5269
#79 in The World's Classics. The 'Sultan-red' limp leather binding is notoriously fragile and copies in nice condition are hard to come by.
