Tissue-guarded frontispiece to each volume. Spines uniformly faded. Spines and edges a bit rubbed. Bindings firm and strong. Armorial bookplate of Henry Lloyd Gibbs to each front pastedown and his ink ownership to each half-title. The first blank page in each volume has the ex libris blind stamp of Derek Gair Gibson. Miss Mary Berry (1763-1852) has perhaps been overshadowed by her association with Horace Walpole.
