(The blue of the buckram used varies owing to the length of time between publications.) All edges gilt and marbled endpapers (with the exception of Periods I. and II. Vol. II.). Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs. All covers slightly rubbed and with bumping to bottom corners on most volumes. Periods I. and II. Vol. II. has a neat ink ownership on the fly. Period V. Vol. I. has several loose pages in the Introduction, two of which are detached and one of which has been repaired with sellotape.
