Colour frontispiece of Tenzing Norgay on the Summit of Everest, 29th May, 1953, and colour and black and white photographic plates. Foxing to the top and fore edges which occasionally encroaches on the tops of some pages throughout. Bookplate to the front pastedown. The names John Hunt and E. P. Hillary are written on the half-title but these are not their signatures. Unclipped d/w is a little rubbed along the top edge with tiny loss to the spine head and the corner tips. There is a very short closed tear to the bottom edge of the back panel. Very good in very good d/w. Item #7781
