Volumes 1, 2, 8, 9, 10 & 11 are inscribed on the flyleaves with best wishes from the editor. The unclipped d/ws are a little rubbed at the extremities, particularly the spine ends, and some of the spines are slightly faded. Near fine in near fine d/ws. Item #9096

Co-Founder of the National Review, he was Editor-in-Chief of The Economist for seventeen years and author of The English Constitution (1867). A very nice set.
