Christopher Robin and his bear are seated back to back in gilt on the upper board. All edges gilt. Colour endpapers by Shepard give an aerial view of 100 Aker Wood. With colour illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard. Contents clean with no ownership marks. Fine. Item #9261
This edition is the first time the illustrations were coloured by the artist. Shepard died in 1976 and this remains the only deluxe, limited edition of the book signed by him.
